Cove Sports and Community Centre
Hallett Cove, Australia
Formerly: Cove Sports Centre, Cove Sports Complex
The ground at 2 Oval Road is within the City of Marion Local Government Area, a place where the local club, the Cove Football Club, found a permanent home in 1986. The original clubrooms and the lower oval were completed that year.
There is no official spectator capacity listed for the venue, a figure often confused with the club’s membership numbers which stand at approximately 1,500. The ground serves six sporting clubs, though the football oval remains the heart of the place. The pitch is natural grass, while the netball courts feature a synthetic surface.
The facility recently underwent a major $5.7 million upgrade, completed in 2024, which brought new netball courts and clubrooms. The stadium has its own history of turbulence, including a 2019 incident where the City of Marion initially moved to evict the Cove Cobras.
