The reserve side, Бургос Промесас, became the basis for a new club, Реал Бургос СФ, which took over the tenancy and kept it until 1994, when that club in turn withdrew from official competition over money. The same year the name Бургос СФ was revived, and the reborn club has held the ground ever since.

The stadium sits in the city's grid between Calle Cruz Roja and Avenida del Arlanzón, its address on Calle del Dos de Mayo. It holds a little over twelve thousand on natural grass, and it has no site of its own — the club's pages carry what there is to know about it.

Бургос СФ play their home fixtures here in the Сегунда, the second tier. The ground has simply kept receiving whichever version of the city's football club happened to be solvent that season.
