Estadio Municipal Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso

Coquimbo Unido's ground carries two names on paper: during the years it was rebuilt for the 2008 under-20 women's World Cup, government paperwork under the Bicentenario programme filed it as the Estadio Bicentenario Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso. Locals just call it El Coloso del Llano, after the district.

The current building replaced an older stadium that had stood on the same plot since 1970, the year the ground first took the name of businessman Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso. The rebuild ran from January to October 2008, designed by Montealegre Beach Arquitectos, and reopened that November with individual, fire- and UV-resistant seating throughout.

For most of its history the Rumoroso was a stop on the touring circuit as much as a football ground — Maná, Romeo Santos, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Ana Gabriel have all played there, and it hosted matches at the 2018 Copa América Femenina. None of that matched what happened on 2 November 2025, when Coquimbo Unido beat Unión La Calera 2-0 on this pitch to win the Chilean Primera División for the first time in the club's history. The club has since turned to upgrading the place for continental football: floodlights and thousands of new seats are going in ahead of a Copa Libertadores campaign, on top of pitch and electrical work already done in 2023.

Deportes La Serena and Cobresal have both used the ground for Copa Chile fixtures, but Coquimbo Unido has been the only real tenant since 1970.
