The Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez sits at the centre of the Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte complex in the Gascúe neighbourhood of Santo Domingo.

The stadium’s identity has shifted over the decades. It opened as the Estadio Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte, later acquired the nickname Estadio Olímpico Jaime "Capejón" Díaz before receiving its current name in May 2005 to honour the hurdler Félix Sánchez following his gold medal in Athens. The venue currently hosts the Dominican Republic national football team and local clubs Atlético Pantoja and O&M FC, though these tenants have changed over time, with Bauger FC and Club Barcelona Atlético recording earlier spells on the ground.

The most significant event in its modern history was the final of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup on November 3, 2024. North Korea defeated Spain 4–3 on penalties after a 1–1 draw, setting the official attendance record for the stadium at 18,410 spectators.
