Howe Park

Singleton, Australia

The ground on Boundary Street sits on Crown land. Howe Park is a multi-use oval shared by the Singleton Strikers Football Club and the Singleton District Cricket Association.

The Strikers, who compete in the Northern NSW State League Division 1, play their home matches on the natural grass surface. The club, founded in either 1971 or 1978, secured the Northern League One title in 2020, though that grand final was played at Magic Park. On the cricket side, the venue hosts the John Bull Shield finals; in the 2025-26 final, Singleton defeated Newcastle Suburban District by seven wickets.

The site was initially reserved as a public park in 1887, named after John Howe, who led the first European exploration party to the area. While the specific date the football oval opened remains unclear, the grounds have seen recent investment, including synthetic grass courts for the Howe Park Tennis Club.
