The Kocsis Sándor Sportközpont does not try to be a monument. It opened on May 31, 2015, replacing the older Bihari utcai sporttelep in the Kőbánya district.

The surface is artificial turf, which means the rain slips off quickly and the ball bounces true. This is not a place for atmosphere; it is a place for work. The Ferencváros women’s team plays here, and they get things done.

The layout is functional. There is a main pitch and smaller training areas scattered around. It sits at Bihari utca 23, tucked away from the main traffic. You can hear the city, but it is quiet enough to shout instructions. The club president, Kubatov Gábor, cut the ribbon alongside the mayor. They did not make speeches about legacy; they talked about facilities.

It has hosted the 2018 Women’s NB I final and the 2019 Youth Men’s Foil Team National Championship. Those are the highlights. Most days it holds youth matches or training sessions. The lighting is adequate, the changing rooms are clean. It is not a legendary ground, but it is efficient. If you want to watch football without the crowd noise, you come here.
