On 16 August 2026 the town reopened the whole complex after a rebuild that started the previous year and ran well past its original budget of 77 million koruna, finishing closer to 85 million once contractors found the ground needed extra work and the water tanks had to be enlarged.
FC Chotěboř later moved to a new home on the same patch in 1967, then known as Na Valech, which grew into today's Letní stadion.
FC Chotěboř now play their football on an artificial surface, in the 4. liga, at a stadium built for far more than matchdays.
