Městský fotbalový stadion Turnov

The plot came through a 1926 land reform, pushed through by Karel Jappl among others, and the club broke ground the following year under Karel Fridrich. What went up first was not the pitch but a wooden clubhouse — still standing, though it belongs to the tennis club now. The stadium proper opened in June 1931, and it has kept the same name ever since, Městský fotbalový stadion Turnov , even as the tenant club changed its own identity time and again, from SK Turnov through Slavoj, Sklostroj, Agro, Český ráj and Turnov FC before settling on FK Turnov .

The pitch itself has had a more recent refit. In June 2025 the old turf came out entirely, replaced with new natural grass brought in from Kozákov and laid fresh across the field; the areas that take the heaviest wear, around the goalmouths and along the touchlines, were reinforced with a hybrid surface rather than left as pure turf.

What the ground has not had is a name change or a rebuild that erased its origins — it is still the same municipal pitch the town cleared for football in the 1920s, run today under the FK Turnov badge at Koškova 828.
