Mosevej Sportsplads

The record crowd at Mosevej Sportsplads has nothing to do with the league. On 6 August 1986 Liverpool came to Kolding for a friendly, and 5,400 people packed into a ground built for a fraction of that. Nothing since has come close. The competitive record stands at 2,000, set on 9 November 2014 when Kolding Boldklub met Kolding IF in the 2. Division.

That limit is 1,500, the figure carried by most listings, though a few put it nearer 2,000. The gap matters less on the terraces than on paper: the crowds that turn up on an ordinary weekend leave room on either side of it.

The ground belongs to Kolding Boldklub, formed in 1919, and it is shared with Kolding Kvindelige Boldklub, known as Kolding Q. Two clubs, one pitch of natural grass at Mosevej 1C.

Beyond that, the record is thin. No cup final has been played here, no tournament staged, no concert held. The stadium has never been asked to do anything other than host football for the clubs that call it home.
