Sede José Baca Castex

A strip of artificial turf sits under floodlights, and beside it a patch of natural grass. The setting is the Estancias del Pilar country club, and the address is Panamericana Km 56.5. You can reach it from the highway.

Club Champagnat opened this location in 2001. They had used the Sede Juan Danuzzo Iturraspe in Pacheco for thirty years. The old building was sold in 2013, the same year the major works finished here. The club added rugby fields, a pool, and a social clubhouse, but no stands were built.

The club has not hosted a finals fixture; those are reserved for neutral venues like Estadio del CASI.

José María Baca Castex is remembered as the "mentor of that project," and the name of the sede honours him.

There is a separate Centro de Alto Rendimiento Pacheco 2 in General Pacheco, but that is not the main ground.
