The Shenzhen Sports Center Stadium stands as a modern monument in the Futian District. The new stands and larger roof retain the outer skeleton of the original arena but have been completely reimagined for a new era of Chinese football. Inside, the atmosphere is vibrant. The turf is maintained by a sophisticated 3D drainage system and subsurface ventilation designed to keep the surface in perfect condition under the stadium's specialized lighting. It was here that Shenzhen Peng City F.C. made their home debut in the Chinese Super League, welcoming a crowd of 31,205 on March 28, 2025. The supporters, many in blue shirts, waved flags and banners, creating a vibrant energy that greeted the new tenants of the venue. The stadium also hosted football events for the 2025 National Games of China later in the same year, cementing its place in the sporting calendar. The exterior, with its large orange signage and modern facade, reflects the city's rapid development. The venue has evolved from the original Shenzhen Stadium, built in 1985, into a facility capable of holding 45,000 spectators, a significant expansion from the original capacity of approximately 32,500.
