Sportanlage Chrummen

Freienbach's ground sits under a name that has nothing to do with its own history: Sportanlage Chrummen was raised in 1972 as Sportplatz Eichholz, and only later took the label it carries in the Höfe district today. FC Freienbach runs its full programme through the site — first team, second, third — which keeps the natural grass pitch booked well beyond a single Saturday fixture.

What sets the place apart from a bare match-day venue is what surrounds the main pitch: three artificial surfaces sit alongside it, absorbing the training load so the grass at the centre stays reserved for competitive football. It is less a stadium built around one team's first eleven and more a working complex, sized for a club that fields sides through several age groups at once.
