The facility sits in the Zamostya residential district, replacing older grounds that preceded it, and opened in 2010 to serve as the permanent home for FC Nyva Vinnytsia.
The old Central City Stadium, once the club's primary home, is no longer in use for football, and the Lokomotiv Stadium has faded into the past. The Sports Complex Nyva has never hosted a major national cup final, nor has it staged international fixtures, but it has hosted local tournaments such as the "Golden Nyva" youth competition. The club reached the Ukrainian Cup Final in 1995–96, but that match was played at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in Kyiv, not here.
The complex has a separate official website from the club's own, and the pitch is used for both professional training and community events. It is a local facility for a local club, nothing more, nothing less.
