The ground on 15 avenue de Paris does not announce itself.

Inside, the pitch is natural grass. The club that calls it home, Sologne olympique Romorantin, plays in National 2. The renovation added a second tier with 2,250 seated places, bringing the total cost to around €1.86 million.

The stadium was completed in 1967 under the mayoral mandate of Jacques Thyraud. It has kept the same name since the beginning, bearing the name of Jules Ladoumègue, a French middle-distance runner and 1928 Olympic silver medalist.

The setting is what gives the place its shape.
