Stadio Bruno Benelli

The entrance to the Stadio Bruno Benelli is marked by fencing. The main stand rises behind it, with a flat and segmented roof.

The club moved to this ground in 1966, replacing the old Ippodromo Candiano. The first match played here was a friendly against Juventus, a team that would become a frequent visitor to this corner of Ravenna. The ground held only a fraction of the fans who might arrive today. The capacity expanded significantly after the team’s promotion to Serie B in 1993, when the drainage ditch was filled and temporary tiers were added to the curves.

The pitch itself is natural grass, though it has seen better days. The current renovation project aims to replace the deteriorating concrete sections and the temporary seating with prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, bringing the safe usable capacity up from 4,995 to 6,345 seats. The registered potential remains higher, but the focus now is on structural integrity.

A memorable evening took place here in 1998 during a Coppa Italia match against Juventus. The crowd was larger then. The club has also hosted youth finals, including a match between Roma and Inter in 2019.
