Stadion Miejski w Jastrzębiu-Zdroju Built in 1989 for a mining school rather than a football club, it was handed over to local industry soon after. The main stand is a long, flat-roofed block, the roof supported by a row of concrete pillars that break the skyline. The stands are painted in a pattern of red and white, but there is a patch of green and yellow seats near one end, too. The pitch is natural grass, but the surface is different from the one most grounds offer. In 2020, the club installed heating cables beneath the turf, an expensive upgrade intended to keep the surface playable through Polish winters. The ambition has not always been matched by the team’s fortunes, but the investment remains.

What makes the stadium distinct is the way the crowd gathers. On match days, a section of the terrace fills with red smoke, the kind of pyrotechnics that drift across the floodlights and illuminate the concrete pillars from below. In one corner of the lower tier, a banner reads 'HOOLIGANS JASTRZĘBIE' in yellow letters against a black background. There is no grand facade or glass entrance here; the turnstiles open directly onto the concrete steps. The atmosphere is not polished, but it is consistent. The stadium is not a tourist destination, nor does it host international fixtures. It exists to serve the people who live in the shadow of the mines. When the town celebrates its own festivals, the lights are switched on and the stands fill with people who have nowhere else to go. The wind goes straight through the open end, and it does not help the passing game.

The capacity is small, but the proximity to the pitch means the noise is concentrated. On a night when the floodlights hum and the smoke hangs low, the ground feels larger than its footprint suggests. It is a place that has adapted to survive, much like the town itself. The heating system works, the stands still stand, and the supporters continue to arrive regardless of the result. A fourth straight win changes nothing about the architecture, but it changes the mood in the crowd.
