Stadionul Municipal Gheorgheni

The name on the sign does not entirely match the name s. Some list it as Stadionul Municipal Gheorgheni; others, including European ground catalogues, still carry it as Stadionul Viitorul.

What is fixed is the pitch: natural grass, on Strada Nicolae Bălcescu. The capacity, 1,500, tells its own story. VSK Gyergyó , also known in Romanian competition listings as CS Gheorgheni, plays its home fixtures here, currently in Liga III.

There is no record of the stadium hosting a Romanian Cup final, an international fixture, or anything resembling a concert. No attendance record survives in the sources available.
