Studenternas IP has lived through several identities. It was built for students, funded by subscriptions, and once housed a gymnastics hall that gave it a different set of rhythms. The current capacity sits at roughly 11,000, a number that swells when the right teams visit.

The venue is not pristine. It is a working stadium, scarred by weather and time. The surface is artificial, designed to withstand the freeze and the thaw. It hosts concerts in the open-air sections during the long days, but the primary purpose remains sport. The sight of players in bright colours running across a white field, watched by thousands in the stands, defines the place.
