About the player
Artem Chelyadin spent seven years at Vorskla Poltava. He arrived in July 2018 as a free agent and stayed until 2025. He played more than 120 Ukrainian Premier League matches for the club and scored five goals. Those were the goals of a defensive midfielder, not of a forward.
His route there began in his home town of Novograd-Volynskyi, where he trained at the local youth sports school from 2007 to 2011. In 2012 he moved to Skala Stryi and stayed in their academy until 2018. He made his senior debut for Skala in 2017 and played 13 matches in the First League.
The high point of his time in Poltava came in the 2023/24 season, when Vorskla reached the final of the Ukrainian Cup. He is left-footed and works in front of the back line.
In 2025 he left Vorskla for Kolos Kovalivka, and he made four appearances. In August 2026 he signed for Livyi Bereh Kyiv on a free transfer. The contract is reported to run until 2028.
He has not played for the senior Ukraine national team. At youth level he appeared for the Skala under-19 side, with 17 goals in 77 matches.
