About the player
Andreas Spegelaere joined KSC Lokeren-Temse on 4 February 2025 as a free agent. His previous club, KMSK Deinze, was in financial difficulty at the time, and the move ended a stay there that had begun in 2017.
His football started at K.A.A. Gent, where he was in the youth system until July 2017. He then moved to Deinze, again without a transfer fee, and stayed with the club through the years that followed. He made about 47 senior appearances for Deinze, in the Challenger Pro League and in First Division B.
The route from Gent to Deinze to Lokeren-Temse has involved no transfer fee at any stage. Lokeren-Temse signed him for the second half of a season, and he joined a side in the Challenger Pro League, the division in which he had already played for Deinze.
He is a right-footed centre-back. Since leaving Gent as a teenager he has played his football at club level in Belgium's professional divisions, and he has not played for Belgium at any level.
