About the player
Antonio Tikvić was born in Hamburg and came through German academies before his career took him elsewhere. His senior career began at Türkgücü München, and he then joined Bayern Munich's reserve side, Bayern Munich II.
In September 2023, Udinese signed him from Bayern's second team on a contract running until 2028. He made his senior debut for the Friulian club in the Coppa Italia that December. The move to Italy did not lead to an extended run in Udinese's first team, and in August 2024 he was loaned to Watford, a switch that was later converted into a permanent transfer.
A further loan followed in January 2025, this time to Grazer AK in Austria, where he made 15 appearances. In July 2025 he moved on again, joining Preußen Münster in the 2. Bundesliga. Soon after making his debut for the club, he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, an injury that interrupted his season.
At international level, Tikvić has represented Croatia through the youth ranks, featuring for the under-18 side in 2022 before stepping up to the under-19s that year and into 2023. He has continued his progress with the under-21 team, including appearances in European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Belarus and Slovakia.
