Ben Stevenson

Ben Stevenson came through the Coventry City academy, having joined the club at the age of eight, and worked his way up to a first-team contract in 2015. He went on to make 33 league appearances for Coventry, scoring four goals, and lifted the EFL Trophy with the club in 2016–17, playing in the final. That run of form persuaded Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign him in January 2018, though his time at Molineux was spent almost entirely away from the club, with loan spells at Colchester United and, briefly, at Spanish side FC Jumilla.

Stevenson made that Colchester move permanent in January 2019 and stayed for two seasons, racking up 74 league appearances. A free transfer to Forest Green Rovers followed in 2021, making 70 league appearances and winning the EFL League Two title in 2021–22.

The most significant chapter of his career so far came at Portsmouth, whom he joined on a free transfer in June 2023. He was still part of the squad that won the EFL League One title, securing automatic promotion to the Championship. A short stint at Cambridge United followed in 2025 before he signed for Cheltenham Town as a free agent in October 2025, taking the number 7 shirt in midfield.
