Carl Lange

Carl Lange arrived at Vålerenga in May 2024 in a deal Vendsyssel FF later described as a record fee for the Danish club, though neither side has put a public figure on it. It marked the latest step in a career built almost entirely on the domestic Danish leagues, far from the FC Copenhagen academy where he once trained as a boy.

Copenhagen-born, Lange came up through HIK, leaving the club as a boy for a spell at FC Copenhagen's School of Excellence before returning to HIK. A free transfer took him to FC Helsingør in 2018, where he spent four seasons before moving on to Vendsyssel FF in 2022.

Since joining the Eliteserien club, Lange has settled into a regular role in midfield, wearing the number 10 shirt and contributing goals from the middle of the pitch. He has yet to add a senior or youth cap for Denmark to his record, despite the early promise shown in the FC Copenhagen academy system.
