About the player
Djassi was named Young Player of the Month in the Liga Portugal Meu Super for August 2026. The award is decided by the league's coaches, and the winger took 18.88 per cent of their votes.
Football began for Djassi in Bissau, at the Fidjus de Renu Academy, where the coach was Cotchi. The next step was Portugal and the youth system at Real SC. Djassi played for the club's U19 and U17 teams and also appeared with the senior squad, in a spell that ran from 2023 into early 2025.
The move to Portimonense came in February 2025 as a free transfer, with a contract running until 30 June 2027. It brought first-team football almost at once. On 21 February 2025 Djassi made a debut for the senior side against Penafiel in the Liga Portugal 2. In the 2026/27 season, Djassi has played 6 league matches.
Djassi represents Guinea-Bissau at international level. On 25 September 2026 Djassi was in the squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania, as an unused substitute.
