Ivan Sadovnichiy

Ivan Sadovnichiy has won the Belarusian Cup twice in a row, in 2023/24 and 2024/25, and the Belarusian Super Cup in 2026 – all with Neman Grodno, where he began his senior career in 2005.

He started playing at twelve at SDYUSHOR-6 Grodno, coached by Iosif Razumovich and Valentin Andreychik. For the first three years at Neman he was mostly in the reserve team, and he was loaned to Dinamo-Belkard Grodno for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He then spent two years at Belkard Grodno, then moved to Vitebsk, where he played 57 matches over two seasons and finished third in the Belarusian First League in 2012.

He returned to Neman in 2013 and reached the Belarusian Cup final in 2013/14. The following year he moved to Kazakhstan, where he played 41 matches and scored three goals for Tobol Kostanay. Shakhtyor Karagandy came next, but a serious injury in 2017 interrupted his time there. He later played for Zhetysu and then Kaysar, and in 2019 he came on as a substitute in the Kazakhstan Cup final, which Kaysar won 2-1 against Atyrau.

Another injury cost him the whole of 2020. He came back to Neman in March 2021, and the club has since extended his contract to the end of the 2025 season.

In 2021 he also won a cap for Belarus. He made his debut on 11 October as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat by Czechia in a World Cup qualifier, and it remains his only international appearance.
