About the player
Ícaro da Conceição Nascimento joined Club América's academy from Sfera Futebol Clube, moving to Mexico at the age of 18. He made his first-team debut for América in the Apertura 2026, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Querétaro.
Before that appearance, he had built up minutes with América's development sides, playing three matches in the Liga MX U21 competition and a further three in the Leagues Cup 2026. He wears the number 27 shirt.
Born in the state of Sergipe, Brazil, Ícaro's move to América and his time in Mexico's youth and reserve competitions have so far shaped a career still in its early stages at senior level.
