Jesse Edem Tugbenyo

Jesse Tugbenyo's career has run largely through the lower reaches of German football, built on a long stay at SC Paderborn's academy before he made his way into senior football step by step. He joined the club as a youth player in 2018 after coming through SV Lippstadt, and it was with Paderborn's reserve side that he first established himself, scoring eight goals in 32 appearances for the second team.

A loan at Sportfreunde Lotte in the 2020–2021 season gave him further senior minutes, with 19 appearances there, before he returned to Paderborn and made a single appearance for the first team in the 2. Bundesliga. A move to SC Verl followed, where he added a goal in 17 matches.

His switch to MSV Duisburg in 2024 marked his most substantial spell at one club, with 44 appearances and a goal across two seasons. In July 2026 he moved on again, this time to TSV Havelse on a free transfer, signing until June 2027.

Tugbenyo has not featured for a German national youth or senior side. Playing as a central midfielder, right-footed and standing 1.87 m, his path has been one of steady progression through the divisions rather than a single defining breakthrough — built on loan spells, reserve-team football and gradual steps up at each of his clubs.
