About the player
Kevin Körmendi's senior career has been spent almost entirely away from the club that holds his contract. Since 2020 the left-footed centre-back has gone out on loan from Puskás Akadémia four times, to four clubs in two countries.
He grew up in Zalaegerszeg and spent nine years, from 2008 to 2017, in the youth system of Zalaegerszegi TE. He then moved to the Puskás Akadémia academy. He played for Hungary at three youth levels: once for the U17s in 2017, then in 2019 three times for the U18s, scoring once, and three times for the U19s. He made 32 appearances for Puskás Akadémia II between 2018 and 2024.
The first loan took him abroad in July 2020, to Nafta 1903 in Slovenia, for a year. He made 17 appearances there. The longest spell followed at Csákvár, where he stayed from 2021 to 2023, played 50 times and scored three goals.
In June 2023 he joined Kisvárda for the 2023–24 season. He played 17 times for the first team and once for the reserves. He stayed in the squad for the following season, when Kisvárda won the Nemzeti Bajnokság II.
In January 2026 he was loaned to Tiszakécske until the end of the 2025–26 season and made 15 appearances.
