Kirill Danilov

Kirill Danilov has spent his entire career inside CSKA Moscow, having joined the club's academy in 2016 at the age of nine. The left-footed defender worked his way through the youth ranks and, in the 2025 season, was named Best Defender of the Youth Football League's Division A while also finishing as the CSKA youth side's top scorer with 11 goals.

Danilov made his senior debut for CSKA in the Russian Premier League on 1 March 2026, against Akhmat Grozny. The following month he signed a contract extension with the club that runs until the end of 2029, and a fan vote later named him CSKA's Player of the Month for July and August 2026.

He has moved steadily through Russia's youth national teams, with caps at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, the last of those beginning in March 2026 against Uzbekistan. His senior international career started on 5 June 2026, when he came on as a substitute in a 3-0 friendly win over Burkina Faso. He added a second cap four days later, entering in the 81st minute of another 3-0 friendly victory, against Trinidad and Tobago.

At 197 cm, Danilov is a physically imposing presence at the back, and CSKA remains the only senior club he has represented.
