Marino Osmar Arzamendia Espinoza

Marino Arzamendia was formed in the club's academy and signed as a professional in 2016. The goalkeeper from San Ignacio has been the understudy to Gastón Olveira.

Loans have taken him from Deportivo Santaní to Sportivo Luqueño, where he made close to thirty appearances and was named Player of the Match against Sol de América, then on through 12 de Octubre, San Lorenzo, Resistencia S.C. and Chacarita Juniors. More recent loans have taken him to Club Guaraní and Deportivo Riestra, both arranged as free transfers.

Arzamendia has collected winner's medals along the way without featuring in the matches that decided them: he was part of the Olimpia squad that won the Torneo Clausura in 2022, as well as the Copa Paraguay and Supercopa Paraguay in 2021, but served as backup rather than playing in the finals themselves. At youth level he represented Paraguay at Under-17 and Under-20 level, including the 2017 South American Youth Championship, though he has not been capped by the senior national side.
