About the player
Matvey Lukin joined the CSKA Moscow academy at the age of five. He was handed his Russian Premier League debut against Lokomotiv — a match in which he was named Man of the Match, becoming the youngest player in CSKA's history to earn that distinction.
Lukin has stayed at CSKA throughout his career. In the 2024/25 season he made three league appearances and scored twice, alongside further outings in the cup.
He made his debut for the Russian national team on 7 September 2025 in a friendly against Qatar, and has continued to add to his caps since.
