Muhamed Buljubašić

Muhamed Buljubašić made his professional debut at 17 against Sloboda Tuzla, the club where he had started out as a youth player. He played that match for FK Sarajevo, whose academy he joined in 2020. His first professional contract there followed in April 2021, four months before the debut.

He stayed at Sarajevo for three seasons and played about 30 league matches without scoring. His last season there brought recognition: he was named Young Player of the Season in the Bosnian Premier League for 2023–24. He is a central midfielder, described as a player of technical ability and vision.

That season led to a move abroad. On 29 July 2024 he joined the Süper Lig club Çaykur Rizespor and signed a four-year contract, running to the end of June 2028.

For 2026–27 he was sent on loan to Esenler Erokspor in the Turkish 1. Lig. The loan was confirmed on 4 August 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027. He scored his first goal for the club against Sarıyer on 14 August. He has made seven appearances for Erokspor so far and has been booked twice.

Buljubašić has played for Bosnia and Herzegovina at U17, U19 and U21 level. For the U21 side he has won 13 caps and scored once. He has not yet played for the senior national team.
