Nikola Jambor

Nikola Jambor has built his career on the move, rarely settling long at one club before crossing another border. The Croatian midfielder started out at Slaven Belupo, with a loan back to his hometown side Koprivnica in 2014, before a €700,000 switch took him to Belgian football with Lokeren in 2016. A loan spell at Osijek followed, then a €200,000 transfer to Portugal's Rio Ave in 2018.

From there the path widened further: a free transfer to Moreirense, a return to Slaven Belupo, then a move to Saudi First Division club Hajer in 2023. In September 2024 he joined Malaysian Super League side Selangor, and in February 2026 he signed for Kazakhstani club Altay Oskemen.

A left-footed defensive midfielder standing 188cm tall, Jambor has not featured for Croatia's senior national side. Sources differ slightly on his physical profile, with some listing him at 190cm and 83kg rather than the more commonly cited 188cm and 76kg, but the broader shape of his career is clear: a player who has kept moving to keep playing, taking in stops from Belgium to Saudi Arabia to Malaysia before arriving in Kazakhstan.
