About the player
Nikita Korzun graduated from the Dynamo Minsk academy, where his career began in 2011. In February 2016 he moved to Dynamo Kyiv, a transfer reportedly worth 700,000 euros. With Kyiv he won the Ukrainian championship in the 2015/16 season and the Ukrainian Super Cup in 2016, though he spent much of that spell out on loan, turning out for Dynamo Minsk, Saudi Arabia's Al-Fateh and Portugal's Vilafranquense.
In September 2020 Korzun signed for Shakhtyor Soligorsk as a free agent and became a three-time Belarusian champion with the club, winning the title in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The 2022 title, however, was later annulled by the Belarusian Football Federation over match-fixing. He also added the Belarusian Super Cup in 2021 and 2023.
At international level, the midfielder has earned 34 caps for Belarus, making his debut against Northern Ireland on 27 May 2016. He also came through the country's youth national teams.
