About the player
Ronaldo Lumungo made his debut for São Tomé and Príncipe on 12 August 2017, the same year he began his senior career at Sporting São Tomé. He has since won 17 caps for the national side and scored three goals.
His club career then moved to Portugal, where he changed teams almost every season. His youth career had included Alcabideche, Vendas Novas, Estoril and Odemirense. As a senior he went on to Clube Oriental de Lisboa in 2019, then GRAP, GS Loures, FC Oliveira do Hospital and Sport Benfica e Castelo Branco. In 2023 he joined the B team of Vitória de Guimarães.
The move to Paços de Ferreira in 2024 gave him a longer stay than any of those stops. In the 2024-25 season he made 24 appearances in the LigaPro and scored five goals, playing as a forward and also on the wing. He stayed at the club until 2026.
That year he left for Poland. Radomiak Radom signed him for a reported fee of about €250,000, and he now plays in the Ekstraklasa.
