Simen Kvia-Egeskog

Simen Kvia-Egeskog has a league title behind him with the club he joined as a boy. Viking won the 2025 Eliteserien with 71 points, one ahead of Bodø/Glimt, and he was part of that squad. He played 28 league games that season, scored five goals and set up two.

He is from Stavanger and came into Viking's academy in 2014. His first professional contract followed on 29 June 2021, initially running to 2024, and his senior career with the club began that June. The deal has since been extended and now runs to the end of 2029.

Regular football came first away from Stavanger. He was loaned to Skeid from September to December 2022. In 2023 he had two loan spells: a short one at Hødd in June and July, then a return to Skeid until the end of the year. None of the moves involved a transfer fee, and each ended with a return to Viking.

His output has risen since the title season. In the 2026 league campaign, as of September, he has made 21 appearances and played 1,449 minutes. He has scored eight goals and provided two assists.

Kvia-Egeskog has also played for Norway at youth level. He won three caps for the under-18 side in 2021 and did not score in them. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
