Sebastian Stolze

Sebastian Stolze returned to SSV Jahn Regensburg on a free transfer in July 2025, signing a one-year contract, and the move brought him back to a club he already knew well. He first arrived there on loan from VfL Wolfsburg II in 2017, made 28 appearances and scored three goals, then joined permanently in 2018 and added a further 82 appearances and 16 goals. Across his two spells with the club he has been one of its more reliable midfield presences, and in his second season back he has made 27 appearances and scored once.

Stolze grew up playing for SV Viktoria Kirchworbis and SC Leinefelde 1912 before joining Rot-Weiß Erfurt, where he made his senior debut and scored one goal in 13 appearances. His move to Wolfsburg's reserve side in 2014 proved formative: over several seasons there he scored 22 goals in 79 games, numbers that made the loan to Regensburg, and later the permanent deal, look a natural next step.

His best-remembered period internationally came with Germany's youth sides. Stolze was capped three times for the U-19s, scoring twice, and was part of the squad that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He went on to add six caps and a goal for the U-20s later that year. He has not been capped at senior international level.

The move back to Jahn on a contract running until June 2026 followed his time at Hannover 96 and SV Sandhausen.
