Sergey Bozhin

Sergei Bozhin has won the FNL twice with Krylya Sovetov, in 2014/15 and again in 2020/21, and both titles bookend a career spent leaving and coming back to his home city of Samara.

He started in the city's youth football at Lokomotiv Samara in 2002. He then spent two years at the Konoplyov Football Academy before joining Krylya Sovetov's youth system around 2011. He won bronze in the Russian Youth Championship and broke into the senior side in 2013. By 2017 he had made 31 appearances and scored once.

The next stretch was spent away from Samara. He went on loan to Lada Togliatti and then to Syzran-2003, where he scored twice in eight appearances. At Torpedo Moscow he played 25 matches and scored four goals, a good return for a defender.

He came back to Krylya Sovetov in August 2020 and played 35 matches for them. That period brought the second FNL title and a place in the 2021 Russian Cup final, which the club reached but did not win.

In July 2022 he joined Fakel Voronezh on a free transfer and stayed until 2025, making 70 appearances and scoring four times. Two of those goals came in the 2022–23 season, both headers, against Torpedo Moscow and Akhmat Grozny.

In June 2025 he returned to Krylya Sovetov, again on a free transfer. He has not played for the Russia national team.
