Sergey Pesyakov

Sergey Pesyakov won the Russian Premier League title with Spartak Moscow in 2016/17 after a single appearance that season.

He came to Spartak in July 2009 from Shinnik, where he had played 24 games, and signed a five-year contract. Tom Tomsk took him on loan in 2011, and he played 26 games there. A short loan at Rostov followed in December that year, and he made two appearances. In August 2015 he went to Anzhi Makhachkala and played 11 times. Between those spells he played for Spartak-2, whose 2014/15 season ended with the Western Zone title in the third tier.

The move that settled his career came in June 2017, when he joined Rostov as a free agent. He stayed until 2024 and played 158 games for the club. His two senior caps for Russia came during that period. He played again on 26 March 2023 in a 2:0 win over Iraq. Earlier he had played for Russia at youth level, including a UEFA Under-19 Championship match against France in 2007, and he won nine caps for the under-21 side.

In June 2024 he signed for Krylya Sovetov as a free agent on a contract running to 30 June 2027. Kommersant has counted 447 matches in his career, with 113 clean sheets and 595 goals conceded.
