Taylan Duman

Taylan Duman came up through MSV Duisburg's youth ranks before Fortuna Düsseldorf took him on at 15. He spent three seasons with Fortuna's reserve side, making 106 appearances, and earned a single outing with the first team in the 2. Bundesliga — a brief taste of senior football before he moved on.

The most productive spell of his career came at Borussia Dortmund II, where a free transfer in January 2019 turned into 54 appearances and 19 goals. That form carried him to 1. FC Nürnberg in July 2021, where he settled into a regular squad role over four seasons, playing 69 matches and scoring four times.

A move to SV Sandhausen in January 2025 was brief, yielding nine appearances and a single goal before he joined FC Viktoria Köln on a free transfer in January 2026. Born in Moers to a family of Turkish descent, Duman has never been capped by Germany at senior or youth level, and his career has largely been built in the lower reaches of German football's professional pyramid rather than through international recognition.
