About the player
The first honour of Yvan Ikia Dimi's career came with France's under-18 side, which won gold at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. He went on to play for France at under-20 level as well. His international allegiance now lies with the Republic of the Congo.
His route into professional football ran through several small clubs in northern and eastern France. He was born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges and played youth football for FCC Villeneuvois, Ascoux SF, SC Malesherbes and US Chauny before joining Amiens SC. He played for Amiens B from 2021 to 2023, then moved up to the senior squad. Over his time with Amiens SC, which ran to 2026, he made 31 appearances and scored five goals.
The 2025 loan at Girondins de Bordeaux brought the most productive spell of his career so far. He made 14 appearances and scored four goals. That autumn he was named Ligue 2 BKT Rookie of the Month for October.
On 11 February 2026 he left Amiens on a free transfer and joined Górnik Zabrze, signing a contract that runs until June 2029. He made a change of country and league at 21.
