Aljustrelense

Relegated from the Campeonato de Portugal at the end of the 2020–21 season, Aljustrelense are back among the district sides in the AF Beja First Division, having won the title eighteen times, most recently in 2019.

The name carries the town with it: Aljustrel grew up around zinc mining, and "Mineiro" was attached to the club to say so plainly. Founded in 1933.

Promotion out of the district ranks is not the only measure of the club. In 2005–06, while playing in the III Divisão, Aljustrelense knocked SC Olhanense — then two tiers above them in the II Liga — out of the Taça de Portugal, 3–0. Two seasons later they won the Terceira Divisão outright.

Locally, the fixture that matters is against CD Praia Milfontes, played as the "Clássico distrital"; the meeting with Moura AC carries its own weight as a straight derby.

Carlos Capeta turned out for Aljustrelense across fifteen non-consecutive seasons between 1984 and 2004. His brother Rogério also played for the club, and his niece, Ana Capeta, went on to play for Sporting CP and the Portugal national team — a family name that runs from the district leagues to the top of the women's game.
