Kolos took over Shturm, the amateur club from Ivankiv that had won the Kyiv region, and turned it into a second team. The side entered the Second League — Ukraine's third tier — for the 2024/25 season as one of eight new reserve teams admitted that summer.
They won Group B at the first attempt.
The second season was the one that counted. Second place in Group B in 2025/26 was enough to carry Kolos-2 into the First League, a division above where they started.
What the record does not show is a squad in the ordinary sense.
Home matches are not played in Kovalivka.
