Omladinac Zablaće

Three villages around Zablaće pooled their youth associations in 1965 to put a team on the field.

Its ground carries the name of Srećko Jovović, a folk singer who grew up in Zablaće and once stood in goal for the club as a reserve; the 450-seat stadium still bears that connection. The club plays in blue and white and is known locally simply as the Blue-and-Whites.

For decades that meant regional football and little else, until a district title in 2011/12 was followed by something bigger: winning the Western-Morava Zone in 2022/23 and going up to the Serbian League West, the third tier. Survival in that first season came with an 11th-place finish, and the club improved to 8th the year after — modest numbers. Local derbies now carry more weight than they once did, with matches against Borac Čačak and Sloboda Čačak drawing the sharpest interest in the city.

Beyond Jovović, the name most connected with the club in recent years is Đorđe Lazović, a professional footballer who played for Omladinac between 2021 and 2023.
