Poland U19 Women

Poland's under-19 women host the 2025 UEFA European Championship finals, after a fourth-place finish in Group B back in 2007. Between those two appearances lay years of qualifying campaigns that went nowhere, so the return to a final tournament on home soil carries weight.

There is no fixed home ground to speak of. The squad trains and gathers wherever a camp calls for, with the Olympic Training Centre in Pruszków turning up most often as the base before matches. Friendlies against Sweden, France, Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina have made up much of the calendar outside qualifying windows, the kind of fixtures used to test a squad rather than chase a result.

The earliest match on record dates to September 2013, a 9-0 win over Albania in UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying.

That is where the U19 side earns its name. Ewelina Kamczyk passed through these ranks before becoming the most-capped player in Polish women's football history, and Nina Patalon went the other way, moving from playing for Poland to coaching the under-19s between 2019 and 2021 before taking charge of the senior national team.
