Todesfelde

Todesfelde is a village in the Segeberg district of Schleswig-Holstein. SV Todesfelde began in 1928, when nursery workers from a company in Rellingen, sent to the local branch for planting work, formed a side of their own. Promotion to the 2. Amateur-Liga followed in 1957, and a Kreisliga title in 1985.

Todesfelde took the Bezirksoberliga Süd in 2005 and the Verbandsliga Süd-West in 2009, then settled into the Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein, the fifth tier, and made it their own: champions in 2019/20, 2021/22, 2023/24 and again in 2025/26. Alongside that, the 2019/20 season brought the SHFV-Pokal, won 3:2 against VfB Lübeck, and with it a first-ever place in the DFB-Pokal. A 0:1 defeat to VfL Osnabrück in the first round, decided by a single goal from Sebastian Klaas in the 77th minute. Closer to home, the club has barely let go of the Kreispokal Segeberg, collecting it in nearly every season between 2005 and 2023.

Matches are played at the Joda Sportpark, where an indoor hall built in 1983 burned down in 1994 and was rebuilt a year later. The sharper rivalry runs against VfB Lübeck, sharpened by players who have crossed between the two clubs over the years.
