Vrchovina

Nové Město na Moravě sits in the Vysočina Region. The club traces back to 1900, when it started life as a skating club before turning to football, and the name on the shirt today is the product of a string of mergers and rebrandings rather than a single continuous identity: a 1998 union with Radešínská Svratka held until 2009, and the current title, SFK Vrchovina Nové Město na Moravě, was only settled in 2021.

Its record is built at the fourth and fifth tiers. The club won the regional Přebor Kraje Vysočina in 2009–10, then took Divize D twice, in 2017–18 and again in 2024–25, each title carrying promotion to the Moravian-Silesian Football League. Between those two promotions came a run in the 2010–11 Czech Cup that still stands out locally: Vrchovina knocked out FC Vysočina Jihlava, then a second-tier side, before eliminating MSFL club SK Líšeň, reaching the third round.

That link to Jihlava has outlasted the cup run. Vrchovina now serves as a development ground for FC Vysočina Jihlava's younger players, a arrangement that has passed the likes of Patrik Stoček and Krystof Hudak through the club on their way up, though none of Vrchovina's own players have gone on to the Czech First League or the national side. Nearer to home, the fixture that matters is the district derby against FC ŽĎAS Žďár nad Sázavou.

Matches are played at the Stadion SFK Vrchovina, in front of supporters who know the club as Vrchoviňáci.
