A. Modica

Agustín Módica was born in Pietra Ligure, Italy, and moved to Argentina at the age of two, growing up in Rosario. He holds dual Italian and Argentine nationality through his father, Pablo Módica. Before settling at Rosario Central, he passed through the youth ranks of Amistad y Progreso, Newell's Old Boys, Río Negro and Central Córdoba.

His breakthrough came in the reserve team, where in 2022 he finished as top scorer of the Torneo Gobernador Luciano Molinas with 19 goals in 13 games, though the competition was abandoned following incidents and never reached an official conclusion. He signed his first professional contract with Rosario Central in April 2023 and made his senior debut that September. Across his time at the club he made 30 appearances and scored 7 goals.

In 2025 he moved to Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza in a partial transfer, with Rosario Central retaining part of his economic rights, joining in time for the 2025/2026 cycle. Despite qualifying for both Argentina and Italy, Módica has not been capped by either national team at senior or youth level. In 2026 he spoke publicly about his wish to represent Italy, a possibility that outlets such as ESPN Argentina picked up on.
