K. Issancho Rubio

Corentin Issanchou Roubiou came through the Rodez AF academy, joining the club as a boy and spending six years working through its youth ranks before reaching the first team. He was named a "Talent" of the French National U19 Championship while playing for Rodez's U19 side, a mark of a player rated highly inside the club well before his senior debut. He moved into the professional squad in the summer of 2024, splitting his time between the reserve side, Rodez AF B, and training with the seniors.

His first-team debut came in Ligue 2 against Laval, and he kept his place to start the following match against Boulogne. Issanchou went on to make seven Ligue 2 appearances in the 2025/2026 season, establishing himself as part of Rodez's matchday squad. In June 2026, he signed his first professional contract with the club, completing a progression through the academy that, as a homegrown player, carried no transfer fee at any stage.

He plays with his right foot and wears number 13 for Rodez, the same shirt once worn by Georgian defender Amiran Sanaia, who left the club before Issanchou's emergence. Born in Strasbourg, he has represented Rodez at every level since his arrival.
