About the player
Filip Braut was still a teenager when HNK Rijeka handed him his first-team debut against Slaven Belupo on 25 May 2019, making him the club's youngest ever debutant in the top flight at 16. He had come up through the Rijeka academy after starting out at NK Krk.
In the summer of 2021 he left Rijeka for NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac on a free transfer, only to return seven months later. A loan at HNK Orijent came next, and by 2023 he had crossed the border to Slovenia to join NK Rogaška, again without a fee changing hands. Less than a year later he was back on the Croatian coast, rejoining Orijent, before his most recent move took him to HNK Gorica, once more as a free agent.
At youth international level, Braut worked his way through Croatia's age groups.
